What we do

Whole cars, and the hard parts of them

Classic muscle cars and trucks are our home ground — anything pre-2000s especially. Bodywork, paint, fabrication and exhaust all happen in the same building, so nothing leaves the shop half-finished.

Our speciality

Custom stainless exhaust, built in house

Every system is bent, fitted and welded here in the shop, made to the car in front of us rather than pulled off a shelf. Stainless means it holds its finish and outlasts the car's next twenty winters.

  • Full systems designed around your car, engine and sound
  • Side pipes, dual exits and one-off routing
  • Fitted as part of a restoration or as a job on its own

Muscle car & truck restoration

Classic muscle cars and pickups brought back properly, from first teardown to final detail.

Frame-off restoration & custom paint

Down to bare metal and back. Panel work, blocking and paint in our own booth — finished to the standard the car deserves rather than the calendar.

Floor pans & rust repair

Full floor pan replacements and rust cut out and repaired in new metal, not covered over.

Fiberglass, SMC & body assembly

Fiberglass and SMC repair, plus body assembly for vintage vehicles and GM models — Chevelles, Corvettes, Camaros and GMC trucks.

Collision & insurance repairs

Collision repair handled through your insurer, done to the same standard as a restoration.

The shop

Twenty-six years on Highway 7

Howe Kustom has been building and restoring cars in Oakwood since 2000. It's a working shop, not a showroom — bodywork, paint, metal forming and stainless fabrication happen in the same building, which is how the finish stays consistent from one panel to the next.

Visits are by appointment, so there's always someone free to walk you through the car.

  • Everything under one roofBodywork, paint, metal fab and stainless exhaust done in house — no shuffling your car between shops.
  • One car at a time gets the bayTypically booking several months out. Projects move at the pace the work takes.

Tell us about the car

The more you can tell us up front, the better the first conversation goes. We'll get back to you by phone or email, usually within a couple of business days.

Asked so we can point you honestly at what's realistic for the car.
